The Daniel Franco Institute is a Civil Society Organization of Public Interest (OSCIP), the social arm of the Mario Franco Organizations, a reference in Brazilian agribusiness.

The work of the IDF involves several projects, aiming to minimize social inequalities. Among them is the Acolher project, which assists women victims of domestic violence in partnership with the Military Police of Minas Gerais.

DF provides services in several areas to minimize social inequalities and promote new opportunities for people.

What we do

Know Daniel Franco

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Daniel de Oliveira Franco has a degree in History, Philosophy and Theology. He holds a Master's degree from the Pontifical Gregorian University (PUG) in Rome, Italy and a Ph.D. in Education from the Univercidad Nacional de Cuyo (Uncuyo) in Argentina.

He is married to Flavia Mendes Franco and father of three children: Antônio, Clara and Sophia.

Daniel is a man ahead of his time. With a cosmopolitan vision, he stands out with the Franco Family - which for three generations has been fundamental for the development of Minas Gerais and Brazilian agribusiness.
